Megafauna Safari
An exciting new adventure is born: the Marine Megafauna Safari. A unique expedition dedicated to researching and observing marine megafauna in less explored areas off Nosy Be bay.
This trip will take us far beyond the tourist sites. Our journey will begin with an exploration of the coasts of the bay of Nosy-Be. But the very essence of this adventure lies in our incursion into an uncharted research zone: the open sea and its depths.
Over the last few years, the waters off Nosy Be, reaching depths of up to 3,000 metres, have revealed the presence of majestic sperm whales, imposing killer whales and even the elusive blue whale, the largest animal that has ever existed on Earth. These exceptional encounters will become the main focus of our trip.
The Megafauna Safari will also give us the opportunity to walk on the immaculate sands of the mythical islands that contribute to the richness of the region. We'll land on Nosy Tanikely, with its dazzling seabed. The mysterious Baie des Russes will reveal its less-frequented coves, while Nosy Iranja will seduce us with its tongue of sand. Finally, Nosy Sakatia, with its relaxed atmosphere, completes our journey.
